Position Summary
Responsible for Operations Network Support – script development, device configuration management, system administration, hardware support, software support, maintenance, security, troubleshooting. Responsible for solution design, development, integration and enhancements to meet the business needs and project requirements. Also, responsible for documenting and developing operational procedures and provides end user support.
Grade: 16

Tasks and Responsibilities
- Ensures monitoring network engineering performance and system availability and reliability
- Leads all configurations and installs of various network devices and services (e.g., routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, VPN, QoS)
- Performs highly complex network maintenance and system upgrades including service packs, patches, hot fixes, and security configurations
- Monitors performance and ensure system availability and reliability
- Monitor system resource utilization, trending, and capacity planning
- Assist in the development and implementation of security policies and procedures
- Initiates, facilitates, and promotes activities to create information security awareness within the organization
- Performs information security risk assessments and serves as an internal expert for information security related issues
- Provide Level 3 support and troubleshooting to resolve highly complex issues
- Works within established configuration and change management policies to ensure awareness, approval and success of changes made to the network infrastructure
- Selects and implements security tools, policies, and procedures in conjunction with the company’s security team using wide latitude for independent judgement
- Acts as the primary liaison with vendors and other IT personnel for problem resolution
