Position Summary
Under general supervision, work with other IT/OT and Business Unit teams to provide proper guidance to ensure hybrid cloud infrastructure, servers, storage, operating systems, and infrastructure applications are operational, patched, upgraded, and changes documented, to meet business requirements and according to the operations standards and required service quality and reliability. Manage project work packages to ensure project deliverables are met on time and under budget through collaboration with CPS Energy Data Center Operations, Enterprise Network Technology, Collaboration Services, Integrated Security, Service Desk, Network Operations Center, Application Support Teams and End Users. Provide incident resolution services, performance and capacity management, including weekly rotating call duty support on a 24/7 basis for all production systems. Maintain metrics and enhance tools to support system monitoring, incident resolution, and problem avoidance. Ensure auditable documentation is completed and maintained for hybrid cloud configurations, application configurations, upgrades, tests, and back out plans, and all processes and procedures associated with NERC CIP and other required compliance standards.

Tasks and Responsibilities
- Configuration, implementation, and management of servers in a highly available hybrid cloud environments running: Hyperconverged, Cloud, or physical infrastructure, virtualization software, and multiple operating systems.
- Configuration, implementation, and management of tiered storage environments.
- Configuration, implementation, and management of desktop virtualization technologies.
- Apply strong knowledge of backup and recovery processes and disaster recovery procedures to maintain data protection and availability.
- Configuration, implementation, and management of Windows and/or UNIX server virtualization.
- Configuration, implementation, and management of a storage virtualization environment.
- Implementation and management of platform security in accordance with CPS Energy IT Security and Compliance standards.
- Ensure day-to-day support and a high level of 24x7x365 service availability. Participation in an “on-call” duty rotation is required.
- Respond to real-time performance alerts to resolve performance problems, regular on-going review and analysis of performance data to identify current performance problems and proactively detect potential future performance problems.
- Provide 2nd or 3rd level proactive and reactive service and performance management for mission critical systems. Identifies requirements for real- time alerts to notify support groups of a current or potential performance problem.
- Independently perform complex troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, solution development, and implementation.
- Automate system administration tasks and scripting.
- Manage system specific network infrastructure components, configurations, and applications.

-System Backup utilizing enterprise class backup platform
- Vendor or recognized 3rd Party certification in either Azure, Windows Server, Linux, or Storage management.
- Knowledge of the FERC/NERC, NIST or CMMC compliance.
- Knowledge of ERP applications.
