Position Summary
The Senior Manager Organizational Development reports directly to the Vice President People & Culture and plays a pivotal role in shaping and optimizing the performance, talent, and culture of our organization. Primary responsibilities of the role include designing and implementing strategic initiatives across various domains, as well as driving individual and organizational success. Responsibilities encompass overseeing performance management, succession planning, leadership development, systems and compliance training, people analytics, contract management and budget oversight, and talent development.
Tasks and Responsibilities
Performance Management:

Designs and implements performance management processes and tools, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and accountability.

Collaborates with organizational leaders to craft and execute comprehensive succession planning processes.

Proactively builds bench strength by identifying and developing high-potential talent to meet current and future business needs.

Leads and drives organizational development and effectiveness initiatives, overseeing the entire strategy and content creation to implementation and evaluation.

Acts as a trusted strategic partner to leaders, ensuring a seamless alignment of organizational development strategies with business area needs and strategic initiatives.

Conducts individual and team leadership, career and talent assessments as appropriate, using a variety of tools.

Provides oversight and consulting support for coaching services across the organization.

Ensures compliance with relevant systems, processes, and regulations for compliance training.

Implements and maintains targeted development plans specifically addressing compliance-related initiatives.

Leverages advanced analytics to analyze employee data, providing actionable insights for optimizing HR programs and initiatives.

Develops compelling presentations that utilize people analytics and insights to guide leaders in addressing pertinent business challenges and exploring innovative solutions.

Oversees contracts for the Organizational Development initiatives to ensure they comply, negotiates good terms, and builds relationships with vendors for seamless project execution within budget.

Oversees the development and administration of the Organizational Development budget, ensuring judicious allocation of resources.

Develops and maintains tailored development plans for both direct and indirect reports, incorporating mentoring, coaching, and targeted developmental assignments to ensure knowledge capture, business continuity, and effective succession planning.

Provides strategic leadership and oversight on various HR initiatives.

Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced degree in a relevant field
- Experience in broad-ranging, hands-on experience in areas such as program management, leadership development, organizational design, strategic planning, resource planning and budgeting.
- Experience within team facilitation, including team chartering, group problem solving or process improvement work.
- Team-based collaborative interpersonal skills that demonstrate appreciation for all employees regardless of roles or background.
- Ability to manage group dynamics, re-direct in tense and difficult situations, unite participants in a common goal and vision.
- Innovative, agile learner that can apply lessons learned and generate solutions.
- Professional certifications in relevant subject matter (e.g., SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP, Coaching certification, Project Management certification, etc.)
