Position Summary
The CPS Energy Internship Program is designed to meet the industry’s rapidly changing workforce needs by providing San Antonio College students an opportunity to be paired with a mentor to acquire meaningful hands-on experiences that expands their understanding of the industry and exposes them to essential skills they must acquire or develop to succeed. The internship is designed for the intern to learn to perform in a work environment and understand the rationale behind the strategies used. Applicants must reside in the San Antonio Metropolitan area and are currently enrolled in school or recently graduated to qualify.
College Intern - Compliance and Transmission & Distribution Operations
The System Operations & Reliability team is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented college intern to join our Compliance and Transmission & Distribution Operations team. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the energy sector, working closely with industry professionals to support our compliance initiatives and operational activities.

Tasks and Responsibilities
Assist in monitoring and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
Support the development and implementation of compliance programs and policies.
Participate in self-audits and inspections to ensure adherence to compliance protocols.
Collaborate with the Transmission & Distribution Operations team to support daily operational tasks.
Assist in data collection, analysis, and reporting related to transmission and distribution activities.
Contribute to the preparation of technical documents, reports, and presentations.
Engage in cross-functional projects to enhance operational efficiency and compliance.
Must be able to report to assigned worksite
