Position Summary

The Organizational Change Management Strategist is responsible for contributing to the development of change management strategies, and for the development and execution of plans, tasks and tactics related to achieving desired change management outcomes on programs, projects and initiatives. The change management practitioner is responsible for aligning and executing change management plans and communications with executive sponsors, key stakeholders, impacted managers and program / project managers to deliver the people-dependent return on investment. Provides regular reporting to director, peers, or others, as required.
Manages and evaluates individual and team performance to include employee development plans (to include SWOTs) for direct reports to ensure knowledge capture, business continuity and effective succession planning.

Minimum Skills

Minimum Knowledge and Abilities

Prior work experience in applying internal communications strategies, change management, best practices, and digital communications platforms and channels.

Prior work experience in communication management to include professional experience developing and writing messaging and content for written and digital publication.

Prior experience with new technologies and new ways of virtual communicating to a broad employee base (web-based training, new town hall formats, in person, Teams, WebEx, etc.).

Prior work experience handling sensitive and confidential information.

Prior experience leading or supervising a team.

Advanced writing and editing expertise.

Valid Class C Texas Driver’s License with favorable driving record.

Position Summary

This position provides data analytics for power flow modeling and electric grid congestion management activities within the Market Operations area. This position will support and maintain power flow modeling software and perform complex quantitative analysis of modeling results to assist with congestion management and generation dispatch strategies. This position will review and assess variables that have impact on price formation and transmission power flows within the ERCOT Wholesale Market.

Tasks and Responsibilities

Support data input into modeling studies to evaluate generation and load obligation forecasts.
Review transmission outage information and analyze potential congestion risks that impact generation and load-serving locations.
Support inputs into pricing and market operations decision-making processes for observing actual or potential congestion impacts in the Day Ahead and Real Time markets.
Maintain analytical tools, systems, and resources for supporting best practices of congestion management in the ERCOT wholesale market.
Support management of power flow modeling software for analyzing potential congestion impacts.
Support analysis for our Congestion Management Program and facilitate submissions into Monthly and Semi-Annual ERCOT Congestion Revenue Rights (CRR) auctions.
Assist with ad-hoc analysis requests from Market Operations business stakeholders.
Participate in the ERCOT Congestion Management Working Group (CMWG) subcommittee and provide updates on potential congestion related impacts.
Utilize power flow or cost modeling tools and software, such as PowerWorld, PSS/E, UPLAN, or similar resources.

Tasks and Responsibilities

Manages plant engineering and instrumentation/controls teams.

Develops equipment specifications, contractual agreements and performs project management activities such as outage planning and execution.

Responds to operations, maintenance and project needs; provides lead role for plant and equipment performance evaluation, optimizes resource use and maximizes reliable power generation and revenue.
