The Strategic Pricing Rates Analyst plays a critical role in achieving CPS Energy’s financial objectives. The successful candidate will contribute to building & maintaining a suite of pricing programs for renewable energy, electric vehicles and resiliency, among others, that achieve customer objectives, meet regulatory requirements and enable growth for CPS Energy. Tasks and Responsibilities

Create pricing plans and rates for new product offerings that ensure appropriate cost recovery and financial performance.
Partner broadly across the organization to ensure alignment on pricing and rates with business units (e.g., EIT, Customer, Communications).
Create and deliver product and pricing messaging for critical stakeholders (e.g., executive leadership, Board of Trustees, Public Utility Office, and City of San Antonio leadership) to receive regulatory approval on rates.
Execute revenue forecast models in alignment with planning scenario modeling (financial planning, due diligence, resource planning, load forecasting, fuel, and regulatory forecasting).
Evaluate bill impacts by customer segment of pricing and revenue forecast scenarios.
Incorporate revenue from new solutions into revenue forecasting processes; evaluate and recommend pricing scenarios that achieve revenue targets and meeting planning objectives.
Conduct research on market best practices and publish insights to inform rate design and strategic decision making.

Position Summary

The Engineer Sr position holds the responsibility for the safe, reliable, and economic round-the-clock operation of the generation, electric transmission, and distribution systems. Duties include Engineering responsibilities for the design, construction, maintenance, and operation activities of our power plants, transmission lines, substations, distribution system, gas systems, control centers and others. The Manager of Local Government Relations will report to the Director of Local Government Relations in San Antonio and will support the responsibilities of the entire Government Relations, Regulatory Affairs & Public Policy unit.

Tasks and Responsibilities

Monitor policy initiatives and strategies regarding issues of interest and/or impact to CPS Energy at the local level.
Oversee the management of CPS Energy’s Community Input Committee, including interaction with the Board of Trustees as required.
Assist with drafting presentations, answering inquiries, and creating position papers, public comments, and other materials.
Support the needs of CPS Energy’s internal stakeholders and business units as it relates to policy activities and information sharing, such as providing reports and arranging and preparing for meetings.
Represent the business unit in internal business meetings and external forums, and proactively develop relationships with key internal and external stakeholders in support of the External/Community Relations function.
Work cooperatively with other stakeholders and affiliated industry and community organizations at the local level.
Participate in the development of company positions and strategies for advocacy with different key local policy influencers. Track and measure results to ensure they are in line with intended outcomes and business objectives.
Serve as an ambassador for CPS Energy within the Greater San Antonio and Bexar County metropolitan area and with counterparts with public and private entities and organizations within the CPS Energy service territory. This includes representing CPS Energy at relevant city councils, meetings, briefings, events, and other policy venues. In some cases, working independently to arrange and lead such activities.
Identify opportunities for education and outreach by convening briefings, discussions, on behalf of CPS Energy, and in conjunction with other internal and external persons/entities as appropriate.
Convene internal teams to share knowledge across business units related to focus areas to ensure integration and alignment between teams.
Engage CPS Energy’s key stakeholders in policy efforts, providing them with the information needed to support policy initiatives of CPS Energy.
Coordinate with supervisors to identify priorities and determine strategies to be communicated.
Contribute to short and long-term organizational planning, budget development and review, and strategy as a member of the management team.

Position Summary

The Community Relations Manager reports to the Director of Local Government Relations and is responsible for building and maintaining relationships that strengthen the utility’s connection to the communities it serves. This includes regular engagement with municipal government entities and other publicly owned or quasi-governmental service providers that intersect with the utility and community priorities. The Manager will also serve to understand stakeholder priorities, and communicate community perspectives, concerns and opportunities to utility leadership. CPS Energy is looking for a dynamic, energetic, community-oriented individual with excellent written and verbal communication skills. CPS Energy is seeking a Director, Senior Counsel to join the Legal Services team to provide legal advice to the company on a wide variety of legal matters and manage assigned team member(s). Primary Responsibilities:
